Introducing TruFoster: From the System to a Calling

Turas Group is proud to launch TruFoster, a faith-driven recruiting initiative dedicated to breaking the foster-care-to-trafficking pipeline. A division of TruRecruiting and the Amplio Foundation, TruFoster partners with employers, churches, and foster care agencies to place foster youth in stable, meaningful jobs — because a job is one of the most powerful protective factors against trafficking.

Every year, over 20,000 youth age out of foster care with no family support, and 60% of sex trafficking victims in the U.S. have spent time in the system. TruFoster exists to change that trajectory — one placement at a time.

How it works:

• City Job Fairs — Bi-monthly hiring events in Raleigh, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Dallas, hosted with anchor churches in dignified, trauma-informed environments

• Two Tracks — Tailored job readiness support for youth ages 15–17 (in the system) and 18–22 (aged out)

​

• Certified Employers — A TruFoster Friendly Employer™ certification with an assessment guide and onboarding toolkit

​

• Faith-Driven Mentorship — One mentor matched per hire through trusted local ministry partners

TruFoster is built on the proven infrastructure of TruRecruiting and Amplio Recruiting, which have placed 25,000+ underserved workers since 2014 and generated $500M+ in wages.
